Access audits

We have audited the premises, policies, practices and programmes of thousands of organisations. As well helping you identify potential problems associated with your buildings and gardens, we can take an in-depth look at your displays, literature, website, activity and marketing plans, recruitment, training and employment policies and practices, with a view to improving your services to deaf and disabled people and other marginalised audiences. We also undertake reviews of brand identities and graphic design proposals.

“Tasked with assessing the accessibility of a proposed new visual identity for one of our clients Earnscliffe conducted an incredibly thorough and detailed audit. They produced a comprehensive report in a matter of days that didn’t just highlight issues, but also offered constructive advice. We are happy to have found Jayne and her team and look forward to working with them again in the future.” Katherine Heaton, Account Director, Johnson Banks brand designers

Earnscliffe will also audit your design proposals for capital projects and funding applications, using our extensive experience of new build, extension and refurbishment projects, gallery redisplays and signage renewal. We have considerable experience of the funding system, particularly of working with HLF and Arts Council, and can help you prepare your application, liaise with the funders, identify potential access provisions as costed fundable items, and identify potential funders.
